Part 2 begins with the absolute party starter ‘Raise It’, dropping roots reggae vocals over an insistent disco funk groove. All bongos and furious bass, the end result is akin to a block party Grandmaster Flash cut up! The flip sees a much-sampled New York house vocal re-imagined as a boogie classic. Particularly pleasing when the infamous ‘deep inside’ lyric drops near the end...
